On the morning of August 17, under the joint promotion of Changzhou Engineering and Technology Institute of Jiangsu University and Changzhou Wujin District Medicine and Medical Equipment Industry Association, 15 member enterprises of the medical and medical device industry Chamber of Commerce entered Jiangsu University for industry-university-research exchanges. The event was held in the second lecture hall of the Conference Center of Jiangsu University.

All the staff first visited the history hall of Jiangsu University.

Qiu Guangyu, dean of the Changzhou Institute of, warmly welcomed the Chamber of Commerce, hoping to strengthen the interactive link between the two sides through this exchange activity, and "feel the pulse" for the technical problems and product development of enterprises. Mo Jun, vice chairman of Changzhou Wujin District Federation of Industry and Commerce, introduced the basic situation of Wujin District private enterprises and the Chamber of Commerce, hoping to deepen cooperation with Jiangsu University in the future, optimize the interactive form, enrich the connotation, improve the effect, and walk out a unique road of industry-university-research cooperation.

Subsequently, according to the actual technical needs of enterprises collected before the meeting and the research and development direction that entrepreneurs are interested in, six faculty representatives from the School of Life Science, the School of Pharmacy, and the School of Mechanical Engineering of Jiangsu University introduced the scientific research achievements of their respective teams.

At the meeting, Changzhou Engineering and Technology Institute of Jiangsu University and Changzhou Wujin District Medicine and Medical Equipment Association signed a strategic cooperation agreement to establish a comprehensive partnership.

Zhang Yibin, deputy director of the Science and Technology Department of Jiangsu University, made a speech, emphasizing that the innovation chain should be laid out around the industrial chain, hoping that more scientific research achievements of our school related with medicine and medical devices can be industrialized in enterprises so as to contribute to the enterprises development, social progress and industry leadership.

At the end of the event, entrepreneurs and teachers interact freely. According to the problems faced by the entrepreneurs, combined with the teachers' scientific research field, entrepreneurs have one-on-one round-table exchanges with teachers to discuss the potential cooperation direction. Some cooperation project prototype has emerged.

This industry-university-research docking activity promoted the close cooperation between universities and enterprises, provided a good direction for the integration of production and education for related majors in medicine and medical device industry, and also opened up a new road for the improvement of innovation ability of enterprises.
