Project introduction
The extensive use of antimicrobial agents causes environmental pollution and bacterial resistance. How to effectively protect plants and animals from drug-resistant bacteria while reducing environmental pollution has become an urgent challenge to be solved at present. Therefore, the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly new antibacterial materials to prevent bacterial infection has become an international hotspot. The invention discloses a method for preparing europium-doped poly (p-aminobenzoic acid) polymer by one-step hydrothermal polymerization, and constructs a new type of artificially simulated photosystem II nanoparticle EP. EP was found to have stable chemical properties and reusability. EP with LED driven reactive oxygen properties is a class of antibacterial materials, which can be used in indoor environment. The invention uses a one-step method of cheap raw materials to prepare a new antibacterial material.
Performance index
EP particle size is 350 nm. The band gap is 1.52 eV. When the concentration was 50 μg·mL-1, the inhibition of E. coli under LED irradiation was 99%. It can be reused.
Applicable scope and market prospect
This antibacterial material can be used to prevent bacterial infections such as water treatment, indoor antibacterial paint additives and building materials.
