Introduction of Invention
This project develops a natural active product secreted by Marine microorganisms - tetrahydropyrimidine, which can protect cells, proteins, cell membranes and nucleic acids under extreme conditions such as high temperature, freezing, radiation and drying, and has certain therapeutic effects on inflammation, Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. Commercially, it is mainly used in the cosmetics industry. At present, tetrahydropyrimidine has been used in more than 300 kinds of products of more than a dozen brands such as Dior and Shiseido, with an annual market share of 1 billion US dollars. Our product cost is 50% of the international, with strong market competitiveness. The strains used in this project produce 10-20% more tetrahydropyrimidine than other strains known internationally. High purity tetrahydropyrimidine was obtained by the extraction process of ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and microfiltration.
Performance Indicators
1. Production of tetrahydropyrimidine: 8-9g/L;
2. The purity of tetrahydropyrimidine is above 95%.
Scope of Application and Market Prospects
Tetrahydropyrimidine, a natural active product developed in this project, can protect the biological activity of enzymes, nucleic acids, cell membranes and other biological macromolecules under adverse conditions such as high temperature, freezing, drying, radiation and free radicals, prevent the combination and destruction of cells by carcinogens, mutagens, poisons and rays, prevent cell water loss, and prevent Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's syndrome. At present, tetrahydropyrimidine is mainly used in cosmetics, enzyme application technology, life science research, biomedicine, pharmaceutical and other fields.
The tetrahydropyrimidine in the medical application is still in the clinical stage, but have been successfully used in high-end skin care products as a scientific research reagent and anti-aging ingredients, the international output of which is about 220 tons/year. It is mainly used in the field of cosmetics and scientific research reagents, and the market share is about 200 million US dollars/year, with an annual growth rate of 15-20%. China has a huge market for skin care products, and the total sales of moisturizing, anti-ultraviolet, anti-aging and other skin care products in China's are more than 3 billion US dollars. The acceptable market for tetrahydropyrimidine as the main ingredient is about $1 billion.
Investment Estimates
Annual production of 2-5 tons of tetrahydropyrimidine requires a total of about 10 million funds. In the first year, the initial capital of 7.5 million yuan is required, including the purchase of equipment, leasing of workshops, etc., a production line (5 million yuan), plant and personnel expenditure of 1 million yuan, initial laboratory construction of 1 million yuan, and working capital of 500,000 yuan. The second year requires a working capital investment of 1.5 million. The third year plans to invest 1 million yuan to improve production lines.
