The utility model relates to a composite anchorage device for FRP bars

Brief introduction of project results

A new type of composite anchorage device for prestressed fiber reinforced composite bar (FRP bar) is innovatively proposed in this paper. The device is composed of anchor ring, metal cylinder, bonding medium and end plug, which can improve the anchoring efficiency, simplify the anchoring process and avoid the problems of bending and eccentric failure of reinforcement during tension. It is suitable for the anchoring of single composite reinforcement with poor transverse performance. The main technical features of this type of product are as follows: 1) compared with conventional composite FRP bar anchorage, it omits multi-chip chuck, fewer assembly parts, simple operation and easy engineering application; 2) The bar is positioned in the center by the end plug, and forms the FRP bar assembly together with the bonding medium, which is combined with the round anchor ring wedge, and can be stretched after pre-tightening, while reducing the risk of the bar being pinched; 3) The inner cone action of the metal cylinder delays the bonding failure between the bonding medium at the load end and the reinforcement, and improves the overall effect and anchoring efficiency of the bonding medium.

Performance indicators

Main technical parameters: 1) the two ports of the metal cylinder are beyond the anchor ring; 2) The metal cylinder is made of mild steel, and its conical inclination is 3°~4°.


Scope of application and market prospects

This is applicable to the construction of prestressed structures in civil engineering, and can be used as a tension and permanent anchoring device for prestressed FRP bars/cables.

With the continuous improvement of durability requirements of modern civil engineering structures and the complexity of the structural use environment (such as the surge of offshore/coastal/cross-sea structures and facilities year by year), the application market of composite materials (especially carbon fiber composite materials) will inevitably continue to increase, and the anchorage requirements for prestressed composite bars will continue to improve. The results meet the requirements of permanent prestressed anchorage device of composite reinforcement, and will have a good application prospect.
