The flywheel battery (flywheel energy storage) system breaks through the limitations of chemical batteries, realizes energy storage by physical methods, has the characteristics of no pollution, high energy conversion efficiency and power density, long cycle life, and is insensitive to temperature, etc., and it is an important way to reduce carbon emissions and help China achieve the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality. In recent years, China has continued to introduce a series of relevant policies to vigorously promote the development of China's flywheel energy storage industry, such as flywheel energy storage was included in the "14th Five-Year" scientific and technological Innovation Plan in the energy field "key task list. The Implementation Plan for Peaking Carbon Neutrality by Science and Technology (2022-2030) issued by nine departments including the Ministry of Science and Technology also proposes to speed up the development of efficient energy storage technologies such as flywheel energy storage. Therefore, the research of vehicle flywheel battery system has important strategic significance and significant economic and social value to promote the high-quality sustainable development of China's new energy automobile industry and battery industry, promote China's energy green and low-carbon transformation, and achieve the goal of "dual carbon".

As the core components of flywheel battery system, the design of magnetic suspension support and motor system directly affects the energy consumption and stability of flywheel battery system. The applicant has conducted in-depth, systematic and comprehensive research on its key technologies from theory to practice, and has achieved a series of original research results.

Flywheel battery maglev control system (sensor, sensorless) has been relatively perfect. We hope to cooperate with enterprises for technology development, transfer, transformation and so on.
