There are shortcomings of the traditional velocity coefficient method, which mainly depends on the experience of the designer, and the similar design mainly depends on the model pump, which are both difficult to improve the performance of the pump. A method based on the combination of CFD technology and modern optimization technology is developed to effectively provide the performance of the pump according to the three-dimensional turbulent flow. It can not only optimize the centrifugal pump according to the performance requirements under multiple working conditions, but also improve its weighted average efficiency and expand its high efficiency zone.
Performance index
(1) Establish the initial sample bank of multi-condition hydraulic optimization of centrifugal pump based on external characteristic experiment;
(2) Establish the hydraulic optimization model of centrifugal pump under multiple conditions based on CFD;
(3) Based on single point hydraulic design and uniform design method, CFD technology was used to generate a sample library of centrifugal pump hydraulic optimization under multiple conditions, and an approximate response surface model was constructed;
(4) Global optimization algorithm is used to optimize the approximate model globally;
(5) According to the optimization results, the hydraulic design of the centrifugal pump is carried out by using PCAD, and the hydraulic model of the centrifugal pump under multiple conditions is obtained.

Scope of application: Mainly used in water works, coal mining, pumping stations, industrial and agricultural water transmission and urban water supply and drainage pump users.
Market prospect: Improve the hydraulic design efficiency of pump; expand the range of high efficiency zone of pump; reduce the loss of pipeline system.
