A multi-electrode sensing structure

Brief introduction of project results

This project relates to a multi-electrode sensor structure that indicates the presence and change of resistance, especially a sensor that can accurately identify the resistance change of a fiber conductive composite material and thus monitor the stress of the material. It can be widely used in structure monitoring.

Performance indicators

The technical solution adopted in this achievement to solve the technical problem (taking the four-electrode as an example, but not limited to the four-electrode): First, a CFRP bar in the component can be used as electrodes at both ends (called electrode 1 and electrode 2) to apply the monitoring current. The two sections of the CFRP bar were measured, the CFRP bar was disconnected, and the relative position of each CFRP bar was recorded and kept (each CFRP bar can be named segment A, segment B, segment C, and its end is A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2 in turn). The A2 and B1 sections are designed as independent voltage poles (called electrode 3), and the B2 and C1 sections are designed as independent voltage poles (called electrode 4). All electrodes are in full cross-section contact with CFRP bars.

Electrodes 1 and 2 are connected to the current input system. Electrodes 3 and 4 are connected to the voltage output system. In order to ensure the bearing capacity of the section of CFRP bars, anchor barrel 1 is set at electrode 3, connecting end A2 and end B1; Set anchor barrel 2 at electrode 4 and connect end B2 and end C1. Insulation glue is injected into the anchor barrel 1 and 2 to ensure that the anchor barrel is insulated from the CFRP bars, electrodes 3 and 4. The bonding section between the anchor barrel and the CFRP bar should have a certain length to ensure that the voltage is not damaged when the CFRP bar is stressed.

When used, the power supply pole is connected to the constant current power supply input system, and the voltage pole is connected to the voltage output system. When the CFRP bar is subjected to axial force, the axial deformation of the CFRP bar occurs, the resistance of the CFRP bar changes, and the output voltage changes. The analysis system calculates the resistance change value according to the change value of the input current and voltage, converts it into the cross section stress of the CFRP bar, identifies the stress state of the CFRP bar, and outputs the corresponding result, in order to achieve the purpose of real-time monitoring of CFRP bars and health monitoring of components and structures.


Scope of application and market prospects

In order to overcome the intermediate section of CFRP bars in the use of CFRP bars, the invention provides a multi-purpose multi-electrode sensing structure, which can not only accurately measure the resistance of CFRP bars and its change value, but also ensure that CFRP bars can normally exert their bearing capacity. The integration of CFRP bar stress and stress monitoring is realized.
