With the requirement of environment protection and the rise of green agriculture, electric-driven agricultural equipment has become a sure tendency. Jiangsu University, originally Zhenjiang College in Agricultural Machinery back to the 1970s, has been focused on research of mechanical, intelligent and electric-driven agricultural equipment for over four decades. 

In order to strengthen collaboration between university and alumni enterprises in agricultural equipment, Yin Bifeng, Vice President of School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering, Xu Yi, Executive Manager of Changchai and Xu Xiaolin, GM of Changzhou Yameike Machinery Equipment gathered in Well-Tech, under the invitation of Ms Qiu Guangyu, to consult on electric-driven agricultural project. Mr Li Dongbin, President of Well-Tech and also a graduate from Jiangsu University back in the 1990's,extended warm greetings to all the guests. 

Mr Li gave a presentation of Well-Tech's technological research of new energy driven automotive and its market for use, which left a deep impression on all presented. Prof. Yin expressed his admiration and showed interest in collaboration with Well-Tech in application of technologies in agricultural equipment. Mr Xu, representing Changchai, exchanged Changchai's efforts in developing lightweight, two-gear agricultural equipment like tractors and discussed possible collaboration model with Well-Tech in certain products.

Mr Xu Xiaolin from Yameike also shared Yameike's interest in lightweight electric-driven transplanter and initial thought on its realization.

After discussion, all alumni visited the exhibition hall of Well-Tech, and were drawn to the manufactured or renovated automotive on display.
