On November 5 and 6, Jiangsu-UK AGM & The 2nd International University-Industry-Research Collaboration Forum was solemnly convened in Changzhou Science and Education Town. Representatives and experts from Jiangsu gathered with UK partners joining virtually due to the pandemic. 

On the opening ceremony, “International Technology Transfer Center of Jiangsu-UK World-Class University Consortium” was unveiled by Vice President of JPDE Wang Chengbin and Chairman of Changzhou Science and Education Town Han Jiuyun, which marks the fruition of member universities’ efforts in promoting university-industry-research collaboration, and would blaze a trail for future development. The launch of the Center in Changzhou Science and Education Town will also help pool more innovative resources in Changzhou for its industrial innovation and restructuring.

Changzhou Jiangsu University institute of Engineering and Technology, where the Center is located, will endeavor to introduce international talent and programs, promote international cooperation and facilitate transformation of technologies from member universities in accordance with the industrial and economic needs at home.

On the International University-Industry-Research Collaboration Forum of the second day, representatives from universities, industries and hi-tech companies shared ideas and experience in international technological exchange and cooperation. Flagship company Changzhou Yameike Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. signed agreement with Jiangsu University and Changzhou Jiangsu University Institute for further collaboration in agricultural equipment.
