Preparation of wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant and functional coatings

Wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, heat-conductive or biological coatings are prepared on the surface of parts by means of cold spraying, induction cladding and optical thermal cladding. In cold spraying technology, there does not exist high temperature oxidation, gasification, melting, crystallization and other effects affecting the coating performance. It  can be prepared on the surface of metal, glass, ceramic workpiece to produce corrosion resistance, friction resistance, insulation, conductive and magnetic coating.

The production efficiency of induction cladding is about 10 times that of laser cladding, and the cost is only 1/5. It is especially suitable for the preparation of nickel-based wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant coatings.

Photohot cladding is a new coating preparation process developed by our research group, which is the first of its kind in the world. It can prepare nickel base coating, cobalt foundation coating and ceramic coating, especially suitable for surface cladding in small spaces, such as the inner wall of fine pores.

Among the coating preparation methods used, cold spraying and induction cladding technologies have been applied in industrial areas and have the characteristics of low cost and high efficiency. Photohot cladding has been completed in small batch trial production.

The technologies used have their own intellectual property rights.

Through the coating on the surface of the parts, the cost can be saved by 50%, energy saving by 60%, material saving by 70%, and the emission of air pollutants can be reduced by more than 80%.
