The sewage treatment device based on the combined flocculation-cyclon-air flotation process is developed by researchers from the School of Energy and Power Engineering of Jiangsu University and the School of New Energy of China University of Petroleum (East China). By using the research results of Fluid Machinery and Engineering of the State Key discipline of Jiangsu University and the State Key Laboratory of Heavy Oil of China University of Petroleum (East China), they self-designed and self-manufactured sewage treatment equipment.

First of all, by adding flocculant (or electric flocculation) to the heavy metal ions in sewage adsorption, ion exchange, complex settlement and other effects, the device can promote the formation of flocculation precipitates. Secondly, the device generates plasma bactericidal microbubbles in sewage by enhancing the bubble dispersion characteristics of the electric field, and floats out the flocculated precipitates in sewage by air flotation technology. Finally, the device realizes the efficient removal of flocculated sediments by centrifugal separation of cyclone separator.
