Brief introduction of project results
4LZ-3.4 self-propelled pepper harvester is at present a relatively advanced equipment for pepper harvest in China, as shown in Figure 1, with the following characteristics:
(1) Simplifying transmission system; more reliable work;
(2) Using hydraulic lifting and turning unloading, and the unloading height can be up to 4 m, which can meet the needs of large transportation equipment;
(3) Adapting to various planting modes; wide operating range;
(4) The safety information system is configured to improve the safety of operation transportation.

Scope of application and market prospects
As a kind of cash crop, pepper has been cultivated in Xinjiang, Sichuan, Guizhou, Hunan, Shandong and Henan provinces. However, the mature pepper harvesting machinery is relatively few. In addition to Xinjiang, the pepper harvest in most provinces is still manual picking, with the characteristics of labor intensity and low production efficiency, which seriously restricts the development of the pepper industry. Therefore, the chilli harvester has a broad market application prospect.
Investment estimates
Chili machine intellectual property transfer and maintenance, and a single processing production cost budget can be 400,000-500,000 yuan.
