Brief introduction of project results

In view of the problems of plate passivation, unstable efficiency, high cost and complex maintenance in the current electroflocculation technology in wastewater treatment, the low-voltage pulse electroflocculation technology was developed, and the graphite-aluminum composite electrode was developed, which effectively solved the problem of conductive stability during electrode use. Based on this, the treatment technology based on electroflocculation is put forward, the process parameters and equipment structure are optimized, and the equipment for electroflocculation wastewater treatment is developed. During the research and development of this technology, it was supported by the scientific and technological achievements transformation project of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and the Science and Technology Support Plan (Industry) project of Jiangsu Province, with an approved fund of more than 700,000 yuan. The research team has mastered the key technology of electroflocculation wastewater treatment and the design method of equipment development. The research results were identified by Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Commission and China Machinery Industry Federation, and the identification committee unanimously agreed that the results reached the domestic leading level.

Scope of application and market prospects

In close cooperation with Changzhou Wujin Tiangong Machinery Manufacturing Co., LTD., the research team developed EFT electrochemical electroplating wastewater treatment equipment and car wash wastewater treatment equipment for electroplating wastewater and car wash wastewater respectively, and the results have been industrialized in many electroplating wastewater treatment and car wash wastewater treatment. In 2018, the electric flocculation treatment equipment for laundry wastewater was developed for Wuxi Cygnet, and good results were achieved.

The wastewater treatment technology can also be used to treat all kinds of dyes, pigments, coatings, pesticides, medicine, veterinary drugs, explosives and other production wastewater; Refining wastewater, oil field wastewater and other fine chemical wastewater. The team hopes to carry out active cooperation and exchanges with these industries in the future, develop the corresponding electric flocculation treatment technology and equipment, and promote the application in Jiangsu province and the country.
