Brief introduction of project
Bone repair materials bioactive glass occupy a huge market at home and abroad, and bone injury patients are the consumer groups of bioactive glass. Currently, only Novabone's solid ilium is listed in China. New technological can reduce production costs and occupy the domestic market with domestic repair materials as soon as possible. The key point and innovation point of product is that bioactive glass has good biocompatibility, bioactivity and processability. For the research and development of bioactive glass in this project, the key technology is the preparation of bioactive glass sol. Our R & D team innovatively prepared the second generation of bioactive glass products by sol-gel method using a new material preparation method.

9. Acute systemic toxicity: no acute systemic toxicity;
10. Subchronic toxicity: no subchronic toxicity;
11. Sensitization: no sensitization;
12. Genotoxicity test: no genotoxicity.
Scope of application and market prospects
Orthopaedic limb bone repair: Clinically used for fractures, bone fractures, etc.; implant in the body can promote bone repair, without taking out in the second operation. It is easy to form a strong chemical bond with the surrounding bone, that is, osseous bonding, and has excellent bone inductance, bone conductivity and biocompatibility.
Stomatology: It is mainly used for filling alveolar bone defects, filling of small jaw defects, apical induced plasty, and filling of pulp chamber floor perforation. Some studies have also shown that this material can make bone defects fill quickly and can be used as alveolar bone repair material for patients without teeth collar. In recent ten years of clinical application, it has been proved to have a very high success rate (7-10 years, 90%).
Daily necessities: mainly repair toothpaste, desensitization agent, dental care agent and so on. Bioactive glass can react rapidly and continuously with water and saliva, release calcium and phosphorus ions, replenish dental structural minerals, produce a stable crystalline hydroxyphosphate limestone layer deposited on and within the dentin tubules (mineralization), and promote the growth of dental tissue, and induce the formation of new tooth enamel.
